“I love how 3-dimensional these huge waves look. Can you see Mt Fuji? Believe it or not, Hokusai’s painting referred to as “The Great Wave off Kanagawa”, was the very first of a large collection of many paintings that he did of Mt Fuji. If he knew how famous the first one was going to be, I wonder if he would have kept going with all the others…
